Charleston First Methodist Church will host traditional Holy Week services from Monday, March 25, through Friday, March 29, beginning at noon each day.
The schedule of daily speakers is as follows:
» Monday, March 25: Rev. Ray Branch, pastor of Charleston First Methodist Church
» Tuesday, March 26: Rev. Joe May, pastor of Charleston First Baptist Church
» Wednesday, March 27: Rev. Grant Gilliam, pastor of Charleston First Presbyterian Church
» Thursday, March 28: Rev. Phillip Pharr, pastor of Adams Arbor Church of God of Prophecy
» Friday, March 29: Rev. Charles Duncan, pastor of Charleston Church of God
Each daily service will be followed by a lunch prepared and served in the fellowship hall by representatives of the speaker’s church.
The cost of each Holy Week meal is $3 per plate, with all proceeds from purchases going to benefit the Charleston community’s Good Samaritan Fund.
Everyone is invited to attend these special services in observance of Holy Week, the week between Palm Sunday and Easter.
