Charleston to host Philadelphia in first-round state playoff Friday night

Admission, set by the Mississippi High School Activities Association, is $10.

Missing man found deceased

An autopsy has been ordered for a missing Charleston-area man who was found deceased near his home Wednesday afternoon.

Tallahatchie County Sheriff Jimmy Fly said the body of Essie Louis Rogers, 65, of 22 Crowder Dr., Charleston, was discovered outdoors on his property at 2:55 p.m.
