Update given about Charleston Recovery Center

Recovery Center reaches intermediate goal

Thanks to the generosity of the people of Tallahatchie County and surrounding areas, City on a Hill Ministries achieved its goal of raising $25,000 for the Charleston Recovery Center interior build-out. These donations, which were raised between Feb. 1 and April 15, 2023, were matched by the Lawrence Davis Trust of Nashville, Tennessee.

Charleston Recovery Center to be residential facility for men with addiction, behavioral issues

Members of the board of the planned Charleston Recovery Center gathered recently to take a look at the construction site on Highway 32, about two miles east of Charleston.

Some dirt work has been done to prepare the property, situated just west of the Tallahatchie County Fairgrounds.
